I have raised it from incubated birth.
Bird has a fine personality. Likes attention and squawks for it when a friendly person passes by. The bird remembers friendly people and looks at them with happy eyes.

The Hyacinth Macaw will respond to a person raising hands by raising its wings and may try to outdo the person with an additional wing lift.
If you do one, it will start with one wing lift. Then it waits for you to do another. Then it will wing lift. Then wait for you to raise your arms.
When it is emotionally charged it will then do two wing lifts. If you do two, then it may do three. The bird is happy.
